Short answer. Yes. This topic could be an entire web site and doctoral dissertation. But lets keep it simple. One of the best ways to be found and to reach out to people (customers) is throgh a Social Network. The two main players from a business perspective are Facebook and LinkedIn. And, you need to be on both. 'Nuff said - go do it!
