Option #1: Web Design Templates
A web template is a predesigned site that you basically "fill-in-the blanks" with your content. It sounds simple - and it can be. This method is going to take some software experience with a web design software such as DreamWeaver or FrontPage. At OmTerra we recommend Dreamweaver. This is the best option if you want total control of your site. And - you have some background and comfort level with software.
For templates OmTerra recommends Template Monster.

Option #2: Web Design Templates - Have Someone Design the Template
If the thought of using a software application like Dreamweaver makes your feet sweat - no sweat! There are options for finding someone to customize a template for you. We recommend a service called Template Tuning. With Template Tuning you will choose a template and have it customized by them. This is a very cost effective way to get your site up easily. Prices start at $149.00!
Option #3: Have someone do it all!
You can also hire a company to "do it all". For this service we recommend Inverse Logic. They can walk you through the entire process of getting your site up and running. Their prices start at $1,400.00. A bargain for a complete site!

You have your awesome site now. Next step hosting... With some of the turn key services they offer hosting as part of the package.
There are several options for you in the world of hosting. Hosting does not have to be expensive. A typical package will cost you between $5.00 and $10.00 per month. This is normally for a shared hosting environment. This is secure for most small businesses. If you are looking to handle financial transations you will want a more secure hosting environment - a dedicated server. This will be more expensive but will give you the security you need.
